Err... I remember this...

Although I agree that there is a LOT <-- possibly too much --> pop played, It's generally acceptable to everyone. Remember that we're at a FIRST event at Disney, a public place with GRACIOUS PROFESSIONALISM in mind, and that there can't really be offensive music played.

This is something that I held close to when I was on 108 and we started the whole music-playing cart thing. Most of the other students on the team wanted offensive music with obscene lyrics on the cd. I know there are radio versions of these songs, and I told them that for the most part, as long as they got those versions, that would have been fine. Needless to say, they were lazy, didn't get that, and I got a lot of heat from them over it. But in my honest opinion, some music just CANT be played at nationals.

Although I enjoy the song Bodies, I think it may be a bit much for the average person to listen to. And same goes for the Ruff Ryders anthem. I would also love for there to be more punk and ska, but punk can have some pretty offensive lyrics, and from what I hear from most people, ska is annoying (though I'm a total addict. the Toasters were just down my way recently. Squeal!)

So not to pick on anyone in particular, I just wanted to get my couple of cents in. Oh, and who says there's too much disco played??? Lemme attem! Lemme attem! I'll claw thier eyes out with my big lapels and crush thier toes with my fish-tank platforms. Ooh Ooh, who's stayin alive now???
