Home Depot Service or not?

Well, here we are ready to get started. I go to Home Depot give the list and add on the tools needed. I request an invoice. I was promised one would be faxed to my house Monday afternoon. Well it is Tues and still not invoice.
All I have to do is show the invoice and a check will be written. Is this good customer service or gacious professionalism? Has anyone else had this experience?
