Calm down, don't diss wood. The base of 173's robot is made of plywood and that thing is as sturdy as ever (we have always used a wooden base and it has never been broken as far as I know). Our team considered crossing over to the darkside and replacing our wooden base with 80/20, but it didn't happen . .
