Its also possible to connect with an external client, any IRC client will do,
HydraIRC and
mIRC are two good ones
irc://irc.webmaster.com/firstrobotics
Paste that into your webbrowser, and most irc clients will connect to it for you
IRC is a bit more suited to multiple user discussions then a web based system would be, I think.
