im just wondering... the OI reads 3 potentiometers by passing 5 volts through each, and measuring the voltage output. it reads switches the same way. this setup requires 3 pins for each pot, a ground bus and 4 pins for the buttons; thus the DB15 connector

my question is: how do you connect the one asynchronous serial clock/data line in a PS2 controller to all 8 of the above mentioned pins by cutting the connector off?

i might be missing something, but that sounds a lot like magic
