I would say that a dashboard is legal. The fix-it window applies to code developed for the robot. While the dashboard does interpret signals from the robot, it does not run or operate the robot. I see it as more of a control device... which controls nothing... so it's not a control device.... (Here's to disproving myself) Anyways, if you're just making it more readable or understandable, I don't see any problem in that. It will not directly change the performance of the robot. I say go for it.
