Also, if they follow the rules from F-P you may have to bring a "to whom it may concern" document that says you are buying them for a FIRST robot and you will not install them on a Power Wheels product.

McNichols informed my buyer that the 13 tooth version has been discontinued (obsolete) and is no longer available to them from FP. So, the buyer opted for the closest alternative - 16 tooth. Alas,
they have last year's motor, but we're forced to use them in practice since the kit motor wants to blow the final stage gear through the side of the transmission.
We and some other teams are in contact with FIRST team support about the unavailability, poor performance at < 12v, and risks of flying parts at the competitions. Hopefully, they'll see the writing on the wall and follow the path of least resistance by allowing us to use last year's FP.
