Lo, it was Team 48's 2004 robot, xtremachen7, there to save the day! This gallant robot knight from Warren acted quickly, striking a blow to the Man Eating Robot's deadly jaws using its telescoping arm as a spear. It then used its powerful single speed tank tread base to push the disabled beast out of the ChiefDelphi community forever and ever, amen.
The people of CD should have been grateful to xtremachen7 for delivering them from evil, but instead, they started a new thread complaining how XM7 acted too much like a BattleBot during its efficient disposal of their foe. Sigh.
