You're right ,I was not too clear- using Photoshop or any good photo editor with text options, titles and captions can be added onto a jpg photo.
btw- I just added a team picture (334) to the 2005 gallery with a title added.
This was actually done with MS Powerpoint; I imported the picture, added the title, export (save) the whole page in jpg format again. (don't forget to rename the file)
