Drive train is similar but only stronger and of similar speed (see other pics from last week). The drive train is modular and the transmission weighs about 1/4 lb. It flies. When FIRST gave us 4 CIMs this year it was like a dream come true. We had it all worked out to run with Fisher Price motors as the second set (our guys design and prototype all year to improve our previous designs). The 4 CIMs made the alignment of the RPMs and such ideal.

Today we get all the sensors in and up and running. Also some last minute wiring and programming. At last weight we were 2-3 lbs under and we may look to add some weight to bring it up to 120. Our school is off today and Monday so we have the next 4 days to train and program. We've never had such time.

Anyway- off to the school to get back to work.
