Re: Get your frustration out here.
My biggest frustration is trying to keep myself from being too negative, and trying to be a good team leader.
Sometimes I feel like things are impossible, when I know that they aren't. We are experiencing some difficulties right now, and I find myself struggling to maintain a positive attitude. I want to try to be more positive about myself and my team members, because I know that we will figure out a way to make things work. But sometimes I find myself feeling like I am burned out, and I am not as optimistic about getting things done as I should be.
I am frustrated because I feel like I need to have more faith that we can do this, and remind myself that nothing worth gaining was ever obtained without effort. I need to remind myself more often that no one ever said that this was easy, and I need to take comfort in the fact that when the struggle is over, and we get to see the results of our hard work, the difficulties we had makes the success even sweeter.
I think that this is probably a frustration of most people. When things get tough, the thought "I don't know if we can do this" runs through most people's minds. I think that most would agree with me when I say this: when you decide that you can't do something, surely you won't be able to. But if you keep trying, and say that you can do it, there is always a chance that you might reach your goal.
I need to try to maintain this philosophy.
