They said there was going to be a big surprise, and we saw the drums on the back. For a second I thought the Rolling Stones were inside those plant vases and were going to appear suddenly playing "Satisfaction".
Mandy Moore is not the music I like to listen, but I'm glad there was someone famous there, because of the reasons other people already stated above.
I think in 2000 and 2001 the cerimonies were more special. But there wasn't those "human waves" in slow motion and other fun things everybody did at the same time!!
