John, In reality you do not need a transceiver for the audio and video. You can get by with a modulator and antenna on the robot since it is a one way link. (We are talking you school project? First robots cannot transmit without permission.) In a pinch you can remove one from an old VCR and just wire audio and video to the connections used in the VCR. It will transmit on the standard channels used in your country. As to a two way control link, there are lots of products that are available as kit form from elctronics catalogs. Try looking at mcminone.com or Mouser. A kit maker here in the US that has some interesting stuff is Ramsey electronics but I don't know if they sell outside the US.
