I used cables and harnesses, but I don't think I did it the way that I was suppost to. I made a harness part in my main assembly. I selected Segment. I clicked on the first part for the wire and then on the other end for the wire. Finish. Right click on teh segment and select "add point" Add points that you cna move to shape the wire. Finish. Right click on points and select "3D move/rotate". move the points until they look right. Right click on the segment and select "harness properties" and set the color and the diameter so it looks right. When you exit the harness part, the wires will slit color (not transparent)

I'm the only one on our team that knows Inventor, And I don't even know how or when I learned it. I think I heard about it last year, But I just knew what I was doing this year.
