Wires do have thickness as do segments. There is a feature "Display as Render" that shows a wire or segment as a thick piece.

I thought id already got that on, would triy it now but inventors trying to do a 400000 occurance array
($@#$@#$@#$@# decimal point whyd i have to delete it with preview on), but segments also work for pneumatic tube, so used them.
