The Japanese cards were never originally concieved by WOTC (Wizards of the Coast.) WOTC only adopted and made the American versions. The link, I believe, stops there.

I agree. Probably the only Japanese card game that WOTC was involved in is Duelmasters. The anime is freaking hilarious though I can't tell if if was dubbed that way or they just made it funny.
