He made it out of 30 30 extruded ( item, profile 8) and some transparent blue acrylic, much like yours, except you could see everything. Some LEDS and neons topped it off. I wish i had a picture to show you. I wouldn't try to put a sledge through it, but it looked like it could take just about anything else. We quickly ( and badly ) put together our control box to resemble it this year.
