I too want to thank engineers; I want to thank them a lot. Today I was T-boned by a speeding car while I was taking a left out of an intersection. My driver's side door was smashed in, the car is totaled, but I scooted over and climbed out the passenger side before I started kicking into the air and crying (its my dad's car and I feel horrible
). However, THANK YOU auto engineers (1999 Honda Accord) because it could have been so much worse. The EMTs were surprised that I refused ambulatory care (felt OK physically but not mentally). Yea, today wasn't a good day.
