Buckeye Pre-Order Food

So I have a few questions regarding the Buckeye Pre-order meals...

Does anyone know if they did them last year? and was it worth it?

They seem like pretty typical food items, hot dogs, hamburgers, etc... and at my first glance, the prices looked fairly reasonable. $10/large pizza, $4.25/hotdog,soda+chips, $6/chicken sandwich+chips, etc. Didn't look too bad to me, and after experiencing food issues at the Finger Lakes Regional (the vendor stands closed early, ran out of food on saturday at lunch time, and any other options at food were a good 5-10 minute walk away: tough for our drive team) We had not had time to preorder their meals, so we figured this time it might be a good idea...

But after I got all my orders and $$ in and was doing the tallying, I looked back at the order email, and noticed the +8% tax and +19% gratuity! This adds $100 to our $350 order!

So my question is, are there vendors on site? do they usually have enough food? Are the prices comparable? or are we getting a good deal with the preorders?

Thanks!
