What you have to do is drive around and see what type of expressions you see on other people's faces.


That reminds me of something from a few years ago. Our team had to move out of donated space in a local factory. One of the first things we wanted to get out of there was the robot but we didn't have a truck. So we used one of my cars, a 1987 Chevrolet Caprice Classic wagon. Well the wagon had plenty of room inside except for interior height. So after realizing the robot won't fit inside we decided to put it on the roof. We laid out a scrap of rug on the roof to protect the paint, stood the robot on the roof, and then tied it to the roof with a few bungee cords and rope pieces. I only had to drive about two miles to the other destination (with another mentor following me) but I got the most weird looks in my whole life during that two mile trip! Unfortunately I don't have any pics but if I did I would post them.

So if you were in Watertown 4 years ago and saw a gold and blonde Caprice wagon with a robot on the roof it was me.
