Re: Rookie All-Stars going to Nationals

1511 won at the FLRC, and we are headed for Atlanta!! Flights and hotel are booked!! (USAir*Shameless plug here, USAir was great, for us booking so last minute, they rearranged their seating to get 42 of us on 2 planes! & Days Inn Downtown for Hotel)

How amazing to win this award, and earn a spot in the national competition at our first event!!

As all FIRST teams know, most of us sit on the edge of our seats as they describe the teams for the different awards... the second we knew it was us, we all started screaming! Such an amazing feeling! I think I might still be in shock weeks later!

We will also be competing in Buckeye this weekend and the Toronto regional next weekend... However, our team has decided that we are going to ask the judges not to consider us for the Rookie All Star award at these events, so that other rookies have a chance to win their way to Atlanta The more rookies in Atlanta, the better!!

See you all there!
