I carry a Leatherman Wave.
It's a very handy tool, and the external liner-locking blades and file are nice. The only downside is the poor blade steel (440A, I believe). It doesn't hold an edge very well. The new Leatherman Charge, however, uses 154CM stainless steel for their blades. If you want the best of the best, consider one of those. It comes at a price, of course, but all good things do.
