Anyways so DVD format with chapters and menus would be pretty sweet I think. It always amazes me that FIRST pays 1000s of dollars for a production company to come in with professional camera crews, video mixing the whole nine yards, and for what really? A webcast? some archives at FIRST somewhere? Why not master each competition to DVD and sell them? Then put that money right back into FIRST?
Just a thought...

Selling anything at competition would require much back and forth between us and F.I.R.S.T. and it's highly unlikely that they will agree. If S.O.A.P. were to move towards a DVD project of that magnitued, including higher quality movies, it would be that much more difficult to provide the service we've already had for so long, which are the downloadable movies online. As I stated before, S.O.A.P. as of right now has no plans to increase quality of our movies by much. There isn't enough time to make that kind of a change. However it will be considered for the future.
