Get yourselves on the congressional record.

Tell your Representative that you won the whatever regional, and make sure you let them know who your sponsors are. If you send them a list of team members, your rep might put your name on the record. Also, don't forget to tell them a little about FIRST itself. You might hear about your team on C-Span! Congressmen love doing these things, it makes them and (more importantly) their constituents feel good.


It might also be a good idea to advocate for a resolution in the House recognizing and honoring the contributions of FIRST.
