Hard-working and gutsy...
no elevator? no problem...
You find a way to win.
And these guys did just that.
I was honoured to have these guys in front of me. Didn't matter if we had a robot that wouldn't turn at all - then would turn way too fast, or if we had an elevator that self-destructed every second match. A disconnected pneumatic hose leaving no pressure in the grabber? No problem, we knew exactly what to do.
What about having the most demanding robot to manually load in all of FIRST, with refs finding new rules every week to make your job harder? Both feet on the ground, no jumping, you can't make contact with a tetra already loaded, now do it all blindfolded with both arms tied behind your back?
Can you be expected to do it all at light speed, and penalty free?
We expected it... and these guys delivered.
Never once frustrated, and always executed what needed to be done... no matter what bizarre circumstances came our way.
What more could you ask for?
Nothing...
Thanks for a great year guys!
