i've met a lot of great people at competitions. Dorienne Plait started talking to me at the 04 nj regional and we became best friends. at the annapolis regional a couple weeks later i met Cat from 686. at nj this year i met steve the jester, and from 303 i met Yostina, Emily, Anna, and others. I talk to all of them a lot, and Yostina's taking me to her prom
. at the palmetto regional last week i met a bunch of nice people from Monster Mechaniks during the animation judging, though i got no names or contact info. From 1051 i met Heather, Cameron, and Bren. Turns out Cameron and Bren were the drivers, and they ended up beating us in the finals
. I and most of my team also met Annie from 312. this is not to mention CDers i have met, like Eugenia Gabrielov and BurningQuestion, and people i have met at random events like Aroon from 1403.
