The EV 1 was a GM limited production/test car. It was all electric and was only available for lease during the late 90s in California. All electric means all torque available all the time. It was an amazing vehicle, but sadly, GM destroyed them all rather then sell them. Coefficent of drag of 0.19? Axel torque of 1206 lb ft? Electric landspeed record of 183 MPH?

Ah yes I rember the EV-1 Quite well, but I must admit those are some very fascinating numbers! I could see how it felt so fast of the line with that much torque. I simply belive that the ev1 was simply too far ahead of its time.
