After having a night to reflect on it, if we have 8 matches per team, I think there will be 2 or 3 undefeated teams, and the remainder of the top 8 will have 1 loss. Do not be surprised if the lower 4 alliances "upset" the top four alliances in the playoffs (as happened in Philly a few years back). This depth of talent ensures that the playoff alliances will not only be very strong, but also very equal. Scouting will have a difficult task placing teams in the preferred order to choose partners in the playoffs, because we will have about 5-6 very elite robots, followed by about 18-20 top tier robots.
