Also... I was suprised by the limited number of teams who didn't stand up and cheer for other teams who won awards. In the upper deck, we gave a standing ovation for each other team who got an award, as did 364 and 111 (and maybe others).

Before leaving Gulfport for the Championship event, our Team Leader (David Fava) told me that it was a lonely feeling sitting in the stands and not being chosen for the finals after qualifying was over. We sure found out he was right, but I was really impressed with the way our students and team supporters kept on cheering all the way to the end of Einstein. When I went back to the pits and started tearing it down during the Divisional Finals, my daughter called from home and said that she kept hearing our name mentioned on NASA TV about how loud we still were.
I guess the judge at Lonestar was right when she said "Oh, you're that team with the psycho fans!"
