Re: 2005 IRI Details

* I want to explain the dinner reservation fee incuded above.

We have included dinner as part of the IRI since 2002. Last year we also added a breakfast. We think these are special extras that help make the IRI such a great event and is an opportunity to sit and talk with friends, both old and new.

Our only problem is that we ask teams to tell us "how many for dinner"?
Last year for dinner we had 'reservations' for almost 900, and about 650 actually ate dinner. We wasted a lot of food. For breakfast, we had reservations for about 600 and I think less than 200 showed. We wasted even more food.

We hope that by adding the $1 per person reservation fee, that teams will be a little more accurate and we can buy and cook enough, but not way too much. We will have tickets or wrist bands or something.

We still want everyone to stay and eat, then go to the talent show, but it really bothers us to waste a lot of food because there is not much we can do with it after it is cooked.

Hopefully everyone understands our dilema and is OK with this solution.
