Hey Jake,

I downloaded that Video and I am amazed! This Video is truly an incredible example for the spirit of FIRST. I would be more than glad to use parts of it and the other stuff there is on the DVD. In case it is importent to the people making the video: I will mention every source where I took material from and will give credit to all those people. Again, this video is amazing and I would recommend watching it to everybody reading this it's worth the download!!
(@Jake, I'll stay in touch with you per PM)

FIRST Europe has been established as a separate non-profit organization, with a structure that parallels The FIRST Foundation in Manchester, NH. One of the main goals of the organization is to help recruit and establish a sufficient number of teams in Europe to participate in a European regional competition in the near future. Real progress is being made in starting new teams in the U.K., France, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Germany (I am in Frankfurt right now). If they have half the success rate that FIRST Israel has had this past year, there could be an European regional competition very soon (and I already know some U.S. teams that would probably attend - at times, air fare from the east coast to London can be cheaper than flying to Atlanta!)!

Hey Dave,

thanks for the link to this organisation I did not know about them so far even so me (and especially Christoph) already talked to a couple people from FIRST. I think we're definitly going to get in touch with them and find out where they are headed right now. On the other site I think their website is somewhat different from what I had in mind since it doesn't contain a lot of the spirit of FIRST and is more a portfolio of their organisation and some parts aren't quite finished yet (media, news archive, ...). But definitly thanks for pointing them out to us who knows why might find ourselfs working together with them in the next couple weeks : ).

@All:
Thanks for your help, you guys are great! : )
