Well, at my school you must have at least a 4.4 gpa throughout all 3 years of high school...freshman to 3rd quarter of junior year.
It's really cool because they grade you on many differnet things including activities, character, leadership qualities and a few others.
At my school our robotics thing is actually a 2 year program called Electro-Mechanical Tech Prep. It's an amazing course where you learn SO SO SO much information as well as...build a robot!
