The Uk general election was on thursday. For a 3rd season in a row, tony blair and the Labour party are now in power. This year there were significant gains in the liberal democrats and small gains in the conservatives voting. However, whilst labour only won by 6% over the conservatives, the way it works means that they have a 67 seat lead in parliament. (The uk is divided into 650 (can't remember exact number ) of constituencies, and each constituency has a member of partliament(MP)). This is 100 seats less than last term so any major issues will be more interesting.

Also, just because you can, if you go to the cardiff north, you will see that the Vote for Yourself party candidate got, well, 1 vote....
