First of all, short people are not actually challenged. We are in fact, very very very skilled at obtaining family-size individuals to help us reach things and or put us into tall locations. Some of these family-size individuals are people, others are inanimate objects. It varies.

Another point:
We're very useful when those tall ppl are just a tad too short to reach something, and they need an addition to their height.
