We have been practicing building techniques with our last year's OCCRA Robot, and have added appendages to suit this year's FIRST game, although it doesn't fit inside the legal box for competition.
As for materials, we have a few good tools that are still handy, but the current wire crimpers that we have in our OCCRA room is a piece of junk, with half of its tip chipped off, and it has an inability to crimp without tearing the plastic insulator off (and still the crimps aren't strong enough!).
But anyways, I expect big improvements on our upcoming OCCRA robot compared to last season's box on wheels. I am looking forward to it
