Re: Experiences at BattleCry 6

Overall I thought the Battlecry competition was a great experience. There was plenty of room for everyone, the facilities were nice and there was a very friendly atmosphere. An excellent job by the judges, announcers and everyone else who worked to make this competition a success.

My only problems were with the hour+ delay of the fields and the replays. I understand that things go wrong and you are pardonned for that, so I'm not going to be that harsh about it (we all make mistakes). The replays on the other hand got a little overboard. In our quarterfinal matches, we (Team 40) were told we had to replay both matches, each of which we had won by at least 90 pts. It was upsetting to go through all the hard work, just to redo it. I was told that this too was a technical problem so, as before, it doesn't irk me that much because things happen. I just hope we take it away as a lesson for next time.

Finally I would like to than Team 121 and Team 596 for their outstanding work in the finals. We could not have done it without you guys.
