Since there is no stage, this rule does not apply (note: further discussion on this subject will be moved to the YMTC thread "can a virtual contest have virtual rules?"). Also, I would point out that the appeal was filed in less time than it took to make the ruling. Under the Billfred I-Never-Signed-Up-For-This Fairness Doctrine, special dispensation may be issued for delays in appeals that were caused by slow response times of the judges.

Besides, for those of us working on the MESSENGER mission to Mercury, the day is 4221 hours long. So it is still last Wednesday. Plenty of time for me to make another entry, have a bad ruling posted, appeal it all the way to the Supreme Court of Time Wasting Endeavors, and still make it to breakfast.
