The IRI talent show was a huge success. There was a perfect mix of funny acts (378's "I'm a Little Teapot" - 233's nose bagpipes) and incredible talent. My kids really enjoyed the show, as my 8-year-old daughter was disappointed that there were not more acts.
I truly believe that FIRST Regionals should look at incorporating "talent shows" into Team Parties. Let's give people a stage, a microphone, and some guidelines and see what they come up with.
Also... from what I hear, the score keeping crew is currently working on putting more match results on the
IndianaFIRST website.
And, for being a bit backward, it is surprising that the
DS&K band has a bunch of pictures from Friday night's show posted on their website.
Huge kudos to all who participated in the show, as it takes guts to not only perform in front of people while running the risk of being moderately heckled by the esteemed judges. Thanks to all of the judges, the excellent m/c, Collin "Wink" Fultz, and especially to Amanda for putting together a swell show along with putting up with all of the behind-the-curtain "antics".
Raul... ul, ul, ul,... ul, ul, ul,... Oli-ver-aaaaaaa.
