It wasn't official. All we can do is wait and see where the championship would be held for 07, 08, and 09. There were 4 cities bidding for FIRST championship. It came down to two. Which two... we can only assume. As far as I know, Championship 2006 will be held in Atlanta.

If you read this thread, you will realize that it's only a rumor that it was split between Atlanta and Indy.
