- Little Lavery (with whom I had an interesting conversation about radio interference and the various merits of traditional versus "jester" or Mechanum holomic)

- Bill Fred (shook his hand, heard his standup bit)

- Tons of MOE students... everywhere... I think the camera techs had to adjust the color balance on their account
- The infamous Heidi, from whom I received the latest (and greatest) "That's Pimp" Button!

Can't wait till tommorrow! We were doing quite well until we had some insane motor heat issues (with breakers tripping as a result of the associated high current draw). We ascribe this to our abuse of the motors (we had the robot "run" a 3k race) but we're replacing them tommorrow.
For those of you who haven't seen 116's drive, it really does, as dave says "dance on it's toes". We brought some new members along who were quite impressed.
Vex too is really neat, I got a chance to drive one of the demo robots 116 brought down.
This competition is odd, in that the audience is really (almost dangerously) close to the feild. I went up to the driver station and a group of spectators was standing in it. I talked to another driver (MOE maybe?) who had been asked by a spectator if they could drive during a match.
