Yeah, but I've had some trouble with getting them to work well. It could just be something about my system. I like having a Windows 98 partition anyway because I don't have very much software installed on it so it runs very fast. I can use it to get really good game performance, since it has less processor and memory load then my Windows XP partition.

If you have fairly new hardware, like I would guess within the past 2 years, and get the latest drivers, you shouldn't have an upgrade problem. Windows XP warns you about out-of-date drivers also, and by now I think that most companies have revisions of their drivers on their websites. I had to download a driver compatible with Windows XP from Logitech for my joystick, but that was the only problem that I really had.

Anyway, about Maya. I uninstalled it right away after seeing the watermarks. They cover up what ever you are working on all the time, and are very annoying to me. It also ran very slowly on my system (Pentium 4 1.5 GHz, 128 MB RAM), which was annoying also. I thought this was odd, because I often have no problem doing CAD modeling in Inventor, listening to MP3's on Winamp and downloading stuff all at the same time
