Yes this hurricane is much worse than Camille. I am from Gulfport, on the MS Gulf Coast. My family evacuated thankfully and they are ok, but unfortunately that is not the case for everyone down there. Everything down there is gone, just completely wiped out. Go to

www.sunherald.com for videos and pictures. We got the NE corner of the storm, which is usually the worst part. This hurricane shattered high water mark records from Camille. I think some of the surges reached at least 26 feet. Death toll currently 80, expected to reach over 200. Gulfport, Biloxi, the whole area is basically gone. Infrastructure totally wiped out. No phones, electricity, anything. Even some of the roads are destroyed. New Orleans is now a giant lake. The levee was breached in a few places and the water level is still rising there. There are alot of people down there who have been severly hurt by this hurricane, it will be a long time before everything is back to normal there.
