Linspire

As a Linux user, it is my duty to aid in the conversion of the evil Windows users. The penguin is your friend and should be loved as such. With that, I'd like to annouce that Linspire (the operating system formerly known as Lindows) is offering free copies for download over the weekend. Well, technically, it's $49.95 with a $49.95 discount... The Slashdot annoucement is here.

Linspire is made to look and feel like Windows to make your conversion an easier and less shocking process. From what I understand, you can even boot it from the CD to take it for a test drive before installing it to your hard drive.
