I have a 40GB 4G iPod with 7125 songs on it, but I decided to buy a nano because:

1. Size: I needed an iPod that i could have in my pocket while I'm in uniform (you're not supposed to have buldges in your pockets in uniform.)

2. Capacity: Yeah, it's very nice to have you entire library of music in your pocket, but for just walking back and forth to class it's easier to find what you're looking for with only 500-1,000 songs.

3. I guess I'm a bit of an apple fanatic.
