Together, we are holding a Book Drive in celebration of National "Make A Difference Day," which falls on the same day as the Duel, October 22.
Please ask your teams to consider collecting books for this drive. The following books are accepted:
* all children's books
* teen books
* novels
* non-fiction
* coffee table books
* dictionaries, thesauri, etc.
Books not accepted:
- encyclopedias
- textbooks
- magazines
SPECIAL COMMUNITY SERVICE COMPETITION "DUEL BOOK DRIVE"
Teams which bring in the most acceptable books BY WEIGHT will win a
trophy and $100. If you are interested in having your local school or meeting
location be a book drop for this event, please let me know. "Success Can't Wait" organizers may be able to assist in getting the word out. Attending teams, expect a communication specifically about the book drive in your e-mail soon.
Get ready to "DO THE DUEL!"
