Fighting Robots return to San Francisco!

Join us Saturday and Sunday, November 12-13th for The ComBots Cup and Robot Fighting League's 2005 National Championships! See the metallic stars of TV gather to fight it out to decide who's the champion - in robot weight classes up to 340 pounds. Thrill to the spectacle as robots fight only a few feet away from the bleachers!

The heavyweight combots cup competitors will be fighting for a $10,000 prize!

I know there are a few of you that dislike combat robotics, think it degrades the sport etc...

I would just like to make a simple request. Keep an open mind. What you saw on TV pales in comparison to what it's like to be in the stands. I've been to a few competitions and I have seen the differences up close.

If there are any fans of the Heavyweight bot Biohazard, Carlo is bringing it out of retirement to fight for the $10,000 prize.

I'll be going, along with as many members of Team 675 as I can get down there.

Please keep the combat bot hate out of this thread. I'm just letting fellow roboteers know about the biggest combat event of the year.
