The book was great, the philosophy in particular.

In all of Heinlien's books, there is useually a charactor that reprsents his viewpoints, on government, society, etc. (In The Cat who walks through walls, and those books, its Hazel!)

The movie truly did miss the point, not to mention the acting and plot (what plot?) were equally horrid.

His books are very interesting. The Cat Who Walks Through Walls in particular has scenes where you can easily pick out who is speaking on Heinlien's behalf.

As for the movie--
