Way back when, I had a slew of computers working in unison on a challenge from
distributed.net. I had Lorraine (BillfredIndustries.com's ficticious secretary) Mark and Strom (after Sanford and Thurmond, since those two were state surplus), then a few others I can't remember.
My old Dell laptop was initially dubbed Dave (because, at the time, it was pimp), but I later dubbed it sold (on eBay).
For now, I'm working on "William Leverette's iBook G4" since I don't know how to change that.
(shrug)
