On the other hand, the 2001 game intrigues me. Any game where you don't score a single point for your alliance the whole competition and still are sought-after by other teams (and your team number isn't 71) sounds like fun to me.

It might be fun, if you've never seen it played before.
But really, that game has to be by far the least popular of any in at least the last 8 years.
The theory was fun. Actually watching it could be kind of interesting.
But it wasn't very dynamic at all. 4v0 killed it. As soon as the alliance pairings were done, with the exception of maybe a bracket, you knew exactly who was going to win, and who was going to lose barring a major disaster.
