Well, I'm going to say this nicely. There are very few girls who look good enough in bikini tops to wear them outside of pooltime. Maybe wear normal team shirts underneath and bikini tops and Mardi Gras beads over it? You would still get the same look, and I think that a lot of you would probably all feel more comfortable. Remember, you'll be working in an area with metal shavings, tools, and flying things (hopefully not, but we all know how well that works out sometimes). Personally, I don't think I'd be too comfortable with that much open skin in such an environment. I think that bikini tops on top of a shirt would look much better and make you all more comfortable in the long run.
PS. Remember that it's going to be a place with lots of people, in the winter, so it might get a bit cold with only a bikini top on too!!!
